What is GAF?
Gaf is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that funds educational enhancement grants for classrooms and scholarships for students in Geneva District 304.
When and why was GAF formed?
GAF was formed in 1987 by a group of parents and teachers to initially purchase computers for district schools.
Who can apply for GAF grants?
Any teacher, principal, or school in the Geneva 304 district may apply for grants.
What criteria are used to award the GAF grants each year?
The grants are evaluated against multiple lenses including but not limited to the number of students who will benefit, whether it is a one-time purchase need, whether it is helping advance the total educational experience, etc.
